Screen Shot 2021-01-05 at 8.08.07 PM.png

This artifact is a sculpture of a boat going over the edge of the earth. The edge waterfall is cast in bronze; the tiny model ship is made of wood, fabric, and thread. It is displayed on a wooden base within a glass dome at the Museum. This object was among the objects that had belonged to Bartholomew but it is not clear if he made it himself or acquired it in some other way. The date of origin is unknown.
